PRN Program Therapist

The Program Therapist interview patients and family members to develop a complete psychosocial assessment.  Provides direct-care to patients and family memebers through individual, family, and group therapy sessions.  Serves as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team.  Participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment  plans for patients.  Works with patients and families to prepare aftercare plans.

1.  Provide direct-care services to patients and family memebers through interventions, family and group psychotherapy sessions.  Serves a a primary therapist to assigned families.  Conducts support groups and aftercare groups for patients/families.

2. Responds to inquires asnd provides crisis intervention as needed.  Acts as a resource regarding behavioral healthcare.

3. Remains knowledgeable of current trends related to behavioral healthcare by participating in professional organizations, reviewing current literature and communication with respresentatives of other facilities.

4.Ensures program functions within requirements established by The Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and other state and federal agencies.
